The 2019 Allan Slaight Awards for Magic—recognizing outstanding achievements in the pursuit of the impossible—will be released next week. Starting Monday, June 24, we will make daily announcements naming each category’s recipient.
Find out who will be recognized as rising stars, wonder sharers and achievers in magic in five different categories.
Each award comes with an iPad to commemorate the occasion, and there are cash prizes totaling $50,000, all generously donated by the Slaight Family Foundation.
Follow us and discover this year’s Canadian and International Rising Stars on Monday and Tuesday. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday, find out who are named as Sharing Secret and Sharing Wonder recipients. Finally, on Friday, we will reveal who has earned this year’s Lifetime Achievement award.
